Art Dolls with Alicia Webb

The amazing and talented Alicia Webb will walk you through creating a fabric doll with bead joints. Each doll is beautifully crafted and has a unique story behind it and she will talk you through her process and inspiration.  You will start with the basic body and let your imagination sore as you create your own unique doll with its own story. You may find yourself embellishing the doll with embroidery, painting, drawing, beads, buttons or fabric.  The possibilities are unlimited!
 
Time:  Friday and Saturday February 7th and 8th 10-3.  There will be a break for lunch each day.
 
Included Supplies:
Wooden Beads
Limited selection of embroidery floss
Buttons
Polyfill
 
Supplies each student is responsible for
Two Fat Quarters Or 1/2 yard of fabric
Thread. 50 wt cotton or polyester
Any additional beads, buttons, doilies, paints or ribbons you wish to use as embellishments.
 
CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:
Classes fill up quickly so it is essential to PRE-REGISTER.  If a cancellation is received at least SEVEN DAYS before the first day of class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 20% administration fee.  Cancellations received fewer than SEVEN DAYS in advance will not be refunded for any reason, including illness. If a class is canceled by Stitchology, you will receive a full refund. 
 
Some classes do require you to come to class with your project precut or that you work on "homework" between class sessions. We use the most size inclusive patterns we can. It is your responsibility to ensure the pattern will fit. If you do not fall within the size parameters for the pattern you will need to make arrangements with us to have your pattern altered before the day of class. Please understand, if you are not prepared we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend/or finish the class.  If the teacher is unable to accommodate you, you will not be refunded the class fee. If you are allowed to attend class, you will not receive any additional instruction time.  If you need help prepping for the class or finishing you may arrange for help prior to or after the class for an additional fee.
 
If your class requires any supplies they can be purchased at Stitchology and you will receive a 10% discount.  **In store only**
