Maui Glam Bag
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner- Achievable for beginners who are willing to learn a new skill. Has sewn a few projects, comfortable working with a sewing machine.
The Maui Glam Bag is 11" wide x 7" tall x 3" deep and is the perfect size for sewing projects, cosmetics, as a purse organizer, or for travel. It has four pockets and an easy zip top closure. It is sure to please anyone as a gift or make them for yourself for any occasion!
Fat quarter friendly.
Please have your materials before class so we can start right away!
Supplies are NOT included in the class fee and can be purchased at Stitchology. You will need to come to class prepared with all supplies.
Materials List (for students):
- Pattern: Maui Glam Bag by Pink Sand Beach Designs
- 4 coordinating fat quarters
- 1/3 yd fusible fleece
- 1/3 yd medium weight fusible stabilizer (used in place of the Decorbond)
- 1 set 1" swivel hook and D-ring
- 2x14" long all purpose polyester zippers to coordinate (don't use metal)
- Thread to coordinate with fabric
Recommended Tools
- Sewing Machine
- 90/14 sewing machine needle
- Regular and zipper feet for sewing machine
- Rotary cutter
- Scissors
- Seam Ripper
- Pins & clips
- Marking Pens
- Other basic sewing supplies
CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:
Classes fill up quickly so it is essential to PRE-REGISTER. If a cancellation is received at least SEVEN DAYS before the first day of class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 20% administration fee. Cancellations received fewer than SEVEN DAYS in advance will not be refunded for any reason, including illness. If a class is canceled by Stitchology, you will receive a full refund.
Some classes do require you to come to class with your project precut or that you work on "homework" between class sessions. We use the most size inclusive patterns we can. It is your responsibility to ensure the pattern will fit. If you do not fall within the size parameters for the pattern you will need to make arrangements with us to have your pattern altered before the day of class. Please understand, if you are not prepared we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend/or finish the class. If the teacher is unable to accommodate you, you will not be refunded the class fee. If you are allowed to attend class, you will not receive any additional instruction time. If you need help prepping for the class or finishing you may arrange for help prior to or after the class for an additional fee.
