Sack O'Lantern Bag Class

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner- Achievable for beginners who are willing to learn a new skill. Has sewn a few projects, comfortable working with a sewing machine. Must be 18+ to attend this class.

 

This easy-to-make drawstring bag is perfect for Halloween! Use it as an eco-friendly trick or treat bag, a gift bag, a project bag, a travel bag, and more. Finished Size 9"w x 10"h x 2"d.

Supplies

• Sack O'Lantern Pattern by Sewn Wyoming
• Fabric
  • Main: 1/3 yd
  • Accent: 1.5" x 15"
  • Lining: 1/3 yd
  • Drawstrings: 1/8 yd or 1 3/4 yd twill tape
• Thread to coordinate with fabric
• 80/12 or 90/14 sewing machine needle

Additional supplies: sewing machine in good working order, regular foot for your machine, scissors, rotary cutter, seam ripper, pins and clips, marking pens, quilting safety pins or basting spray, and other basic sewing supplies. 

 

CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:

Classes fill up quickly so it is essential to PRE-REGISTER.  If a cancellation is received at least SEVEN DAYS before the first day of class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 20% administration fee.  Cancellations received fewer than SEVEN DAYS in advance will not be refunded for any reason, including illness. If a class is canceled by Stitchology, you will receive a full refund.  If you do not show up for class, or are more than 15 minutes late for any reason, including illness, you will not be refunded or credited any part of the fee.

 

Some classes do require you to come to class with your project precut or that you work on "homework" between class sessions. We use the most size inclusive patterns we can. It is your responsibility to ensure the pattern will fit. If you do not fall within the size parameters for the pattern you will need to make arrangements with us to have your pattern altered before the day of class. Please understand, if you are not prepared we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend/or finish the class.  If the teacher is unable to accommodate you, you will not be refunded the class fee. If you are allowed to attend class, you will not receive any additional instruction time.  If you need help prepping for the class or finishing you may arrange for help prior to or after the class for an additional fee.
