Prairie Sky Block of the Month

$130.00Price

Prairie Sky is a 6 month Block of the Month program that begins in January 2026!  Starting on January 10th the class will meet on the second Saturday of each month from 10-12. This amazing quilt features the delicious Sprots Wovens collection from Fabelism and the pattern is designed by Taralee Quiltery.  Techniques include traditional piecing, paper piecing, and some simple appliques. This is a great skill builder project and is appropriate for enthusiastic beginners as well as more advanced quilters.

Facts about the program:

Program begins in January 2026 with the first class, and kits will be available for pick up at each class.  You will pay for each kit at the time of class.
Registration fee is $130.00 now  to reserve your spot and pre-order your pattern. The fee for the block kits is $40 plus tax and there are 6 blocks total.

Each class's block kit will include the fabrics for that class's section of the quilt, and instructions. By the end of the program you will have all the fabrics (and if you worked along, finished blocks) for a completed quilt top including binding. Backing fabric is not included.

Finished size of the quilt is approx. 72" x 96"

You are committing to purchase the monthly kits for the entire quilt. Each 2 hour class will begin with a lecture/demo and you can choose to stay and sew after.  Lorna Loeffler will be available to answer questions and offer assistance.  The class in June will address any additional questions and give you a chance to make up any missed classes.
