Garment Skill Building-Jenna Shirt

In this class instructor Molly Prewitt will walk you through building basic sewing skills as you work on the Jenna Shirt by Closet Core Patterns. In this class we will sew a classic woven button down collared shirt. Starting with choosing the pattern size we will move into learning the essential skills to make this shirt.
In this class you will learn new techniques, perfect ones that you may be familiar with as well as dip into garment fitting. Depending on your speed and experience level as a sewist will depend if the garment will be completed.
We will rework the pieces as needed so the focus is improving the look and fit over the finished product. 
Expect to spend time between the classes on the work. 
Level of experience: enthusiastic beginner to advanced 
 
Supplies:
Jenna Pattern
1 additional yard of fabric for samples
Fabric according to pattern directions for size and style
Thread to Match
1/2 yard fusible, woven interfacing
9-12 buttons depending on style
 
 
CANCELLATION and REFUND POLICY:
Classes fill up quickly so it is essential to PRE-REGISTER.  If a cancellation is received at least SEVEN DAYS before the first day of class, a refund will be issued for the amount minus a 20% administration fee.  Cancellations received fewer than SEVEN DAYS in advance will not be refunded for any reason, including illness. If a class is canceled by Stitchology, you will receive a full refund. 
 
Some classes do require you to come to class with your project precut or that you work on "homework" between class sessions. We use the most size inclusive patterns we can. It is your responsibility to ensure the pattern will fit. If you do not fall within the size parameters for the pattern you will need to make arrangements with us to have your pattern altered before the day of class. Please understand, if you are not prepared we cannot guarantee you will be able to attend/or finish the class.  If the teacher is unable to accommodate you, you will not be refunded the class fee. If you are allowed to attend class, you will not receive any additional instruction time.  If you need help prepping for the class or finishing you may arrange for help prior to or after the class for an additional fee.
